Feel better about themselves regarding how they handle their anger
-
Indicate that their relationships with those close to them have greatly improved
"I regularly blamed other people for pushing my buttons and making me angry. I was able to learn to take control back of my own life. I learned that no one could push my buttons without my permission."
"In treatment I was challenged to break the cycle of how my father took his anger out on our family. I am proud to say that I am now a better father and husband."
"My wife asked me to start therapy. I was reluctant to start. Will was easy to talk with and helped me process what was going on. We were able to identify treatment goals and I have made changes I am proud of."
"Will is a supportive and positive person. He helped me with my anxiety and learn different ways to handle my anger."
"After being arrested for an assault I wasn't sure if I could talk to someone about my personal life. The process was easy to get started. I learned how my actions effected my family."
"Things were falling apart. I was angry at work. I was losing my family. My own children were afraid of me. It has been a tough time. During treatment I was able find small wins in making better decisions. Things have gotten better. "
"In treatment, we processed skill building. These skills were both helpful and easy to understand. Each week we learned a new technique and each one logically connected to the next. This was incredibly helpful for me to practice these skills outside of sessions in everyday life."
"I found it helpful the way that Will would steer me away from focusing on what other people were doing around me to cause my anger. He helped me focus back on what I could control and how I could respond. That spurred a lot of self-reflection and growth."
"Will made it clear that I wasn't alone. He conveyed that others are experiencing similar difficulties that I was going through. Will also shared that others had the same reasons for change that I had. This helped me believe that change was possible."
"Stopping the anger I have had my entire life seemed impossible prior to treatment. In sessions, Will helped me focus on one small win (better decision) at a time. This made it possible to make the changes I wanted."
"The ease of communicating in each session was great. It always felt that Will was truly engaged and heard what I had to say. This made it easy to have a good open discussion. The layout of the program was very clear and new skills were shared each week."

Frequently asked questions
How do I get started?
Reach out by phone or email to schedule a free consultation. After that, we will set up an initial meeting. Once we meet, you can decide whether you would like to participate in skill‑streaming sessions or individual therapy.
What type of therapy do you practice?
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in my Anger Management practice. CBT helps individuals identify and change unhelpful thoughts and behaviors, improve emotional regulation, and develop coping strategies to address current challenges.
Do you offer virtual sessions?
Yes. All sessions are currently held virtually.
A loved one needs help managing their anger. What should I do?
Start with an open, honest conversation about your concerns. If you have questions about treatment, feel free to contact me. However, the potential client must reach out directly to schedule their initial meeting.
How long does the full Anger Management program take?
The length of treatment varies depending on the client’s goals and level of participation. Most clients’ complete treatment with a certificate of completion after 15 sessions, while others choose to continue for additional support and skill development.
Is Anger Management only for people with “serious” anger issues?
Not at all. Many clients seek support to improve communication, reduce stress, or better manage frustration. Anger Management can benefit anyone who wants healthier emotional responses.
Do you accept insurance?
No. However, you can contact your insurance provider to ask whether you have out‑of‑network benefits. Clients with this benefit may receive partial reimbursement depending on their plan.
Can you provide documentation for a pending court case?
Yes. I provide documentation verifying participation in Anger Management treatment. After completing a minimum of 15 successful therapy sessions (not including the initial meeting), clients are eligible to receive a certificate of completion. Clients may continue treatment beyond the certificate if they choose.
What if I’m not sure whether Anger Management is right for me?
That is completely normal. The free consultation is a great opportunity to ask questions, learn more about the process, and decide whether this approach feels like a good fit.
